West Arthur Ave was created by Dr. Abimbola (Lanre) Johnson, a podiatrist and foot and ankle surgeon who believes that comfort, confidence, and movement starts with the right footwear. As a clinician, he incorporates footwear recommendations with every patient that he treats. He created West Arthur Ave to bring these conversations out of the clinic, and into a place we can all meet.

Helping people move is at the center of everything we do. Our mission is to demystify footwear, help you understand what you’re wearing, why it matters, and how to make the right choice.
